Physical Description Mack appears to be the permanent outsider, but has a way of getting into people's confidence. He's about average height, slightly skinny and somewhat lanky. All in all, not a very memorable person when compared to others. He usually dresses in 'business casual' clothing - slacks, sensible shoes, cableknit sweaters or collared shirts. He also has a fondness for local baseball hats when traveling, believing that they make him look like a local. As he settles down, his head goes bare more often.

Most of his clothing is either black, a shade of gray, brown, or dark blue. The one remarkable thing is that he never wears any patterned clothing. Every article of clothing he wears is a single solid color.

Family

Spouse/Mate None
Sire [Prominent Guatemalan Malkavian]

Personality & Traits

Embrace Story His Embrace was somewhat accidental. His blood is 12th Generation, but he's actually only been a Vampire for 5 years due to being Embraced by an 11th Generation elder. Five years ago, he was swept up in the 'Urbex' community, and traveled pretty extensively to explore old, abandoned buildings all over the world. During a trip to Guatemala, he found an abandoned theater, which had become the home of a small Malkavian community, which he only discovered after he'd been locked in. Locking him in with the kindred was less an act of malice or hunting, and more that it was the middle of the afternoon, and the door being open let sunlight in. He might have been let out if he hadn't gone too far and seen too much. As he explored the place, Michael's inherent paranoia started playing up - but the kindred saw the respect he had for their home in spite of his trespassing. Unfortunately for him, he came to the courtroom (the largest theater space), and even during the day, there were any number of lunatics. He'd seen too much, but the Clan felt they had no reason to kill him since he was basically harmless. He was judged by the head of the group, and the decision was made to Embrace him.

What brought you to Vancouver Mack has moved many times in those five years, traveling vaguely north-west since his brief time in Guatemala. He's settling into Vancouver for reasons he's uncertain about. Other members of the Lunatic clan probably have a sense of ominousness when they consider his motives. Mind you, a lot of the Clan gets that feeling about their fellow nutjobs, so there's very little unique about the portent.

Personal History Mack appears to be the permanent outsider, but has a way of getting into people's confidence. He's about average height, slightly skinny and somewhat lanky. All in all, not a very memorable person when compared to others. His dilettante nature preceded his Embrace, but has only gotten worse since death. It's possible he has a college degree, but he doesn't care about it. It's possible that he's worked about half the jobs he claims to have some knowledge about - the other half are either 'obvious fabrications', or simply impossible. Like many Malkavians, he's quick to move from City to City, forging and breaking bonds as his needs dictate.

When he was a living person, he was fairly well-to-do, and thus had a habit of traveling the world and embracing various fads and passions. Exotic foods, skydiving, and many other passions became his sole focus until he found the next new thing. In many ways, that's both what caused the end of his mortaliity, and a cornerstone of who he is now as a vampire.

He'd seen too much, but the Clan felt they had no reason to kill him since he was basically harmless. He was judged by the head of the group, and the decision was made to Embrace him. His paranoid nature has become significantly more prominent in the past five years - the problem being, of course, that there are people after him, and it becomes difficult to identify the real threats from the imagined ones. On top of that, he's also been getting hallucinations which are totally indistinguishable from the 'completely normal' visions that Lunatics are often prone to.

He's moved many times in those five years, traveling vaguely northward. He's settled in Vancouver for reasons he's uncertain about. Other members of the Lunatic clan probably have the same sense of an omen hanging over him. Mind you, a lot of the Clan gets that feeling about their fellow nutjobs, so there's very little unique about the portent.
What motivates you toward your end game Mack isn't the sort of vampire who actively pursues an endgame. His philosophies are rooted in living in the moment. The chaos he causes, the way people react, and the spread of the Madness are more than enough. His motivation is to continue onward, driven by the voices in his mind and his own strange whims.
